We, at GD Goenka believe that mental well-being is an essential component during a child’s developmental years and social–emotional competencies must be developed in children aiming to help them to further succeed in the school and ultimately in the society.

The Guidance and Counselling Cell at school offers students a comprehensive program designed to cater to the overall mental and emotional well-being of the students. The school counsellor works in close collaboration with the students, teachers, parents and school administration to address the academic, social, behavioural and emotional needs of children within the school setting.

Mindpeers counselling club is an initiative led by the psychology students in order to provide peer support to the students in need of counselling with regard to their personal issues. The students are also encouraged to participate in various life-skills workshops building resilience and confidence in them.
